About POHH
Pawfection of Helping Hands, LLC
Pawfection of Helping Hands (aka Dr. J. Rapp's Pawfection) Veterinary Acupuncture and wellness is owned and operated by Dr. J. Rapp, a licensed veterinarian in the state of Colorado. She takes an integrative medicine approach by combining holistic and traditional medicine.
Dr. Rapp earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University Fort Collins in 2017. During her final year of Veterinary school, Dr. Rapp also went through intensive veterinary medical acupuncture training and obtained certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture (cVMA) in April 2017. Dr. Rapp also has extensive experience in medical massage and photomodulation (also known as low level laser therapy), which are used in conjunction with medical acupuncture to provide the best care to her patients.
Dr. Rapp practiced in general practice for 3 years following completion of her veterinary training, and continues to do relief work. She has always been interested in anesthesia, canine sports medicine and rehabilitation therapy. She completed her training and earned her certification in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy (CCRT) in December 2019.
As well as wanting the absolute best for animals, Dr. Rapp also continues her mission of being a positive example for youth, especially in the African American/Black communities, to show that he or she can achieve his or her dreams and goals with honest hard work and God guiding their paths.
